She is a delight. In addition to her parents, Millie enjoys spending time with her Aunt Sarah Brancatella ‘00. Kristen Puglisi Buscemi ’99 writes, “As January 1, 2020 began a newdecade it also welcomed an overwhelming new love into our lives. Our son, Matteo Russell Buscemi, was born at 5:38 p.m., weighing 7 lbs 15.6 ounces and measuring 20 1/2 inches long. I was fortunate enough to have fellow Nardin alumna Stephanie Tomasello '99 as my wonderful and compassionate nurse in recovery at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo. Born on November 9, 2019, in New York City, she weighed 7lb 14oz and measured 20 inches. She was named after St. Gianna Beretta Molla, physician and mother, and her maternal great-great- grandmother Concetta, whose name derives from the Immaculate Conception. Kathleen Dolan Gellart ’66 writes, “My husband of 31 years, Kenneth Gellart, passed away unexpectedly while we were in Florida on March 28, 2020. He was also the step-father of Amy Franz Ostrowski ’86 and grandfather of Anna Ostrowski ’16.” Robert J. Kresse, father of Mary Katherine Kresse Frederiksen '84 and Ann Kresse Gegelys '85, passed away on November 30, 2020 after a brief illness.
